Electricity at work
regulation 4 (2)
'As may be necessary to prevent danger all systems shall be maintained
so as to prevent, so far as is reasonably practicable such danger'.
'To meet the requirements
of the 1989 'Electricity at work regulation' it is widely regarded to be necessary
to implement a program of planned inspection and testing of portable appliances'.
Regulation
6
'Every employer shall ensure that work equipment is maintained in an efficient state,
in efficient working order and in good repair'.
Provision and use of work equipment regulations 1998 Power 98 regulation 6
(3) 'Every
employer shall ensure that the result of an inspection made under this regulation
is recorded and kept until the next inspection'.
